MMY APK Download Release Notes
Update only when the new build solves a problem you actually have. If your current mmy app opens correctly, logs in normally, and does not crash, waiting one release cycle is safer than installing a package just because the version number is newer.
Current recommended versions
- mmy Main App 2.4.0: choose this when you need full account access, alerts, update prompts, and the most complete Android workflow.
- mmy Lite App 1.8.3: choose this when the phone has limited storage, older Android hardware, or the Main App takes too long to open.
- mmy Partner App 1.5.1: choose this only for approved partner accounts; normal users should not install it as a shortcut.
- Do not downgrade: avoid older APKs unless a current release fails on your Android version and you can confirm the older package source.
Before updating, keep the previous APK until the new version launches successfully. If the new build changes the app icon, login screen, or permission set without a matching note, uninstall it and return to the last stable version.
Update only when the reason is clear
- Update now: crashes, login failures, broken notifications, or Android compatibility fixes affect your device.
- Wait: the update only changes wording, visuals, or features you do not use.
- Skip: the APK source changed, the file size is far from the expected range, or permissions expanded without explanation.
- Rollback: the new version opens slower, breaks login, or sends update prompts to a different route.
Do not update all devices at once. Test the new build on one phone first, especially if you manage mmy access for family members or a partner workflow. A staged update makes it easier to isolate whether the problem is the device, account, or APK.
How to decide between update, wait, and rollback
Update when the release fixes a crash, login issue, Android compatibility problem, or security warning that affects your phone. Wait when the update is cosmetic, the current version works, or the file size changes sharply without a clear reason. Roll back only when you kept a clean previous APK and the new build creates a repeatable problem.
- Good update signal: the note names a real bug, the size is close to expectation, and permissions stay the same.
- Weak update signal: the note says only “improved experience” while asking for broader access.
- High-risk update signal: the app asks you to install from a new domain before explaining what changed.
- Best rollback signal: the old version worked on the same device and the new version fails after a clean reinstall.
Update routine for low-risk users
Download the new APK, compare version and size, install on one device, run a normal login, then wait before deleting the old file. If everything remains stable, keep the new version. If battery drain, repeated login prompts, or unexpected permissions appear, stop updating other devices.
